Obviously whilst your machine is under
manufacturers warranty it is essential
that it is regularly serviced by the appointed
dealer in accordance with the service
schedule. This will help to ensure any
warranty claims that may be required will
be completed on your behalf. It also has
the added advantage that your machine
will be kept in tip-top performance by
expertly trained service engineers who
have the correct tools for the job. When
machines are being serviced we can check
for extra work that may be covered by
warranty and do that work at the same
time.
In these days of electronics it is even
more essential to use your dealer as they
will have the computer diagnostic tools
that are essential for diagnosis and corrective
programming.
As an appointed dealer we only use genuine
parts from the machine manufacturer. This
means that your machine will perform at
an optimum level and you have the peace
of mind that you will get warranty on
the spare parts that are fitted.
As an extra service we at Mitchells have
developed our very own service history
system that enables us to track every
job that has been done on any piece of
machinery since 1st January, 1999. We
do this by affixing a metal plate to your
machine which carries a unique 'Mitchell
No.'. This Mitchell No. then gives us
the ability to print a detailed 'Fleet
Maintenance Report' for your machinery
so that you can keep track of what jobs
have been done on it and how much you
have spent. We also show what warranty
claims have been made on your behalf.
This type of regular reporting allows
us to identify any machines where it may
be more economical to replace it rather
than keep repairing it.
